We're finally bloggers! It took all the techie skills we had (well and a little tech support-Thanks Ang and Sig), but it is officially up and running.
What a crazy year it has been for the Frazier fam! Here is a little breakdown (sorry, it's a little long):
First of all...drumroll...30 hit the old man of the house. The smell of Icy Hot permeates and we're now buying metamucil in bulk. You look great though big guy, really. Who couldn't love that face.
As far as jobs go:
Tried for dream job (seminary)...didn't get it. Looked and applied for countless other ones...nothing happened. Finished two other jobs (sorority and 4-H). Eventually got dream job! (seminary again...who knew?)
It was insane and frantic for a while, but it really taught us that the Lord is looking out for us and needs us to endure to the end. When no other jobs were coming down the pipeline, we miraculously got a call 4 days before Shane's 4-H job was about to expire and 2 days before school started! They wanted him to teach seminary after all! Lucky for him, he is teaching at the best school...Viewmont High, my Alma Mater.
Our 4 homes:
We finally got to move out of the sorority! That was a lot of estrogen in one house, but it was fun. We moved into this little house in Logan. It was only with us for a little over a month because of the infamous seminary call...
which gave us little choice but to move into my parents basement for a while. You always think it won't happen to you, but it inevitably does. Just kidding Mom and Dad, we love you. Thanks for putting up with us for a while.
Eventually, we found and purchased our first home in West Layton. It's a little scary at first to sign your life away, but we are loving it and look forward to some good memories here.
Many Max:
Max got to meet
cousin Max (above) and cousin Max (below). It was fun to meet both, but we were especially grateful to have the human Max here from Khazikstan after a long adoption process.
Vacations:
Nothing too exotic, but we had a blast. Jackson Hole with the Wildings and a remote cabin on the other side of the Tetons with Shane's family.
Max turns 1!
The kid really grew up on us.
My Sister-In-Law Amber (never ceases to amaze) put together this great carnival for Max and his cousin Cohen (they're a week apart). Max and Cohen cried half of the time, but we all had fun at least.
Just some other pictures of the boy that we had to show off (Thanks Ash...you're amazing):
Well, that about wraps it up...Happy Holidays!
