The Latest

Yo, Adrian...

Well, if you remember way back when, I posted about Max always calling us by our 1st names and he has never quite grown out of it. When he is trying to find us, his voice usually gets really low like he's channeling Rocky or something. I'm not sure why he thinks dropping an octave will accomplish the goal better, but it's pretty entertaining. Please ignore messy room, half-naked child, and creepy voice at the end of this video.

And this is what I hear from Max's room every morning and afternoon when he wakes up as well as every time he has a question or wants to show me something (i.e. Aweese, watch this)

My Hosiery is bunching...

Just when you thought you couldn't get enough of Shane in tights, he goes and wows you once again. Shane just had surgery on his shoulder which was a result of a bike wreck about 5 years ago. It has bothered him ever since and thankfully, because of insurance, he was finally able to get it taken care of. One of the lovely perks of orthopedic surgery...T.E.D. hose for a week or more! We're happy to report he is doing great and although he looks hopped up on pain pills here, it's just Shane being Shane.

The Final Countdown...

As you can see, I'm huge and ready to pop! She could come any day now. Both of us (the baby and I) are ready and out of room. We can't believe it is actually here and can't wait to see her! Also can't wait to see my feet again, breathe again, and be able to eat and drink without having to pop 80 Tums!

I think it's hilarious that Max calls you by your first names. He's such a big boy! I love your cute belly Elise! Are you sure it's not just a basketball under there though? And good timing on the surgery Shane-we all know you just wanted to get out of changing those nasty first few days of newborn diapers! Good luck here in the near future. Can't wait to see the picture debut of #2! Maybe we'll have to sneak over when we're up for Christmas to say hello.

I can still see your feet and they look fine. :)
Max is the cutest! One day about 2years ago I asked Natalee what mom's name is and she said, "Shi" which is what Nathan calls me. Then I said, "What's daddy's name?" To which she replied, "Just daddy."
We're glad Shane is feeling better and not gettin a blood clot.
I got so excited when I saw your ticker...17 days!!! Less that 20. It's awesome...you're awesome...the baby will be awesome!

I feel for you with the heartburn! I ate a lot of tums and rolaids with both pregnancies (all that extra calcium is good for the bones eh?). The videos of Max made me laugh, what a crack up!

Max is so cute. Randi calls Jay by his first name sometimes. It is funny the things they come up with.
